A rare and extremely well preserved Heer Luftwaffe camouflage helmet cover, constructed of a multi piece rayon structure secured together along the seams with double rows of machine stitching. It is dyed on the exterior in a classic 44 style Sumpfmuster (Marsh Pattern) mottle. Six integrated and reinforced loops are distributed around the circumference of the crown for the insertion of vegetation for additional
