Whitby Goth Expressionism Acrylic on wood 20x20cmEvery year Whitby hosts a World Goth Weekend. It is a well attended event due to the town's connection with Bram Stoker's Dracula. I went to this event in the hope that I would find some interesting subjects to paint; this was the most beautiful that I stumbled upon. I have given her a backdrop of a William Morris gothic pattern, which I have painted in colours that compliment her beautiful feathered collar. Oil and Acrylic on Canvas 50 x 100 cm
