I wanted to catch the comfortable homely feeling of village life the tv was on! The early evening Spring light was beautifully soft. There were birds in the trees and there was smoke coming from the chimney. The drawing, done with archival quality colour pencils was finished off in the studio. The thick hand made paper was a joy to work
